Safety Awards

Shell - 10 years lost time incidents free, received in Feb 2008, continues to present day.

Petrofac Safety Donation – received in Nov 2009 for successful guard vessel project completion of Don Southwest and West Don Fields.

Environmental Awards

Two Marine Mammal Observers employed by SFF Services Ltd received a prestigious safety, health and environment (SHE) award from Total E&P UK in February 2012. Duncan Gray and Moira Moore received their award in the ‘Protecting the Environment’ category at the Total E&P UK SHE Awards in recognition of the high level of professionalism and dedication they showed as part of the oil company’s Laggan-Tormore development project.

During the project, Duncan and Moira monitored pipelaying activities and ensured the avoidance of disturbance to marine mammals within the environmentally sensitive area of Yell Sound – a mandatory requirement identified by Shetland Islands Council and Scottish Natural Heritage.
